Thus far, the topic that i would like to present to the class is how the clear-cutting of rainforests is changing the local climate as well as the global climate. I feel this is important because clearcutting occurs constantly and our rainforests are quickly depleting to make roads and grazing lands. I want to try to hypothesize the long-term effect of human destruction on our earth's climate. The components i am researching at this time are water vapor, and CO2. Besides those green house gases i want to research the changing albedo due to deforestation. More ideas are on the way.
This is just an initial idea, and i don't have any solid sources i want to submit at this time... but they'll be coming soon.
