Hydrology of Costa Rica

I have discussed with Hays completing a project analyzing the hydrology of Costa Rica. I hope to measure rainfall, evaporation, energy input, and other interesting processes such as precipitation in the form of fog in the Cloud Forest.

In order to prepare students for this project, I plan on introducing the concept of a hydrologic budget, explain the differences in hydrology between Ohio and Costa Rica, and explain the process of taking hydrologic measurements and the concepts behind the equations we will use.

Please keep your attention on this page as I will have a more formal proposal up soon.
