Management of Buffer Zones to Protected Areas in Costa Rica

A buffer zone is an area inside or adjacent to a protected area where the harmonious relationship between the natural environment and people is promoted. I plan to examine the political, economic, social, cultural, ecological, and intrinsic worth of resources in these areas and what is being done to manage these zones.
