Check out Arenal, a beautiful, active volcano in Costa Rica. Arenal is one of the most active volcanoes in the world.

Tropical Field Courses -Western Program-Miami University

I'm interested in reptiles so crocodiles seemed like a good topic for me, even if I end up branching out a little to talk about some of the other large reptiles in the country. Here is my outline so far:

I. Evolutionary history of crocodiles

II. Physical/physiological characteristics of crocodiles in Costa Rica

III. Descriptions of behavior and psychology

V. Extension: how the behavior facilitates the requirements of a crocodile ecosystem
