Tropical Field Courses -Western Program-Miami University

Intro:
Being a Geography major, I am constantly studying human to earth interrelationships. I think Aquaculture is a topic that has gained importance and will continue to in the future. Since aquaculture has both positive outputs for humans and negative effects on the environment, I think the topic of sustainability is something to be addressed so everyone is aware of the impact of this form of growing food.

Outline:
History of Aquaculture
Need for aquaculture
Positive effects
Negative impacts on ecosystems
What is sustainability?
Possible solutions to sustainability
