Discussion topic introduction:

The intent of my project/discussion is to address Loggerhead Sea Turtles social functioning focusing on reproduction and the steps right before, during and after. I will also look at basic Loggerhead (Caretta caretta) details and facts, such as how long the average lifespan is and where they are to be found. I will include information on the sex and age determination too.

Rough Outline

I. Basic Loggerhead Sea Turtle Information (so we all understand what reptile is being discussed) and Brief History Lesson
a. Where to look for them, what they look like, their adverage size
b. Once on the Endangerd Speices List & What was done about it

2. Social Relations and Reproduction
a. Relations between Parent/Parent and Parent/Child
b. Pre-Mating social activities
c. Mating and Nesting
d. Post-Nesting/ Migration/ Movement

3. Determination
a. Sex determination, sex ratio
b. Age determination

4. Conclusion
a. Review and final connections
b. Future of Loggerhead Sea Turtles
